Indianapolis, IN – Better Billy Bunker licensed installer Duininck Golf recently completed a full-scale bunker restoration at Highlands Golf and CC in Indianapolis, IN. Originally designed by Willie Park and Bill Diddell, the recent Highland project was completed under the direction of architect Ron Kern. All bunkers were constructed using the BBB method to reduce maintenance and eliminate sand contamination in the future.
Superintendent Ryan Baldwin and his staff worked in conjunction with Duininck Golf to give Highland an outstanding upgrade. Having already experienced several large rain events since the project’s completion, the staff and members have seen first-hand how well the BBB method performs.
Duininck Golf is also in the midst of a complete Better Billy Bunker project at Edinburgh USA in Brooklyn Park, MN. BBB’s ability to withstand severe freeze-thaw cycles makes it the perfect bunker construction method for northern climates.
