Lenoir City, TN - In the spring of 2015, Southeastern Golf completed a full Better Billy Bunker renovation at WindRiver GC. The project also included extensive drainage work and new tee boxes. This Bob Cupp, ASGCA designed course overlooks the Tellico River and is located in the shadows of the Great Smokey Mountains. There are spectacular views from every hole.
Superintendent Kris Drake, GCSAA and his staff have already noted the benefits of the BBB construction method after several intense rain events this year. Instead of rebuilding bunkers after these events, their time is able to be spent on other important tasks.
